The Dalmore

In 1263 a member of the Mackenzie clan saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. This single act of bravery was rewarded with the gift of the royal stag emblem for use as the Mackenzie clan crest. The Clan Mackenzie owned The Dalmore Distillery for over a century and its defining influence is still evident to this day, with the iconic royal stag antlers standing proudly on every bottle of The Dalmore
